You attack and accuse the Pope personally, even holding him responsible for actions others committ, but you are hypersensitive for any word that might be critical of you. That perfectly encapsulates the schismatic double standard.

The distinctive difference is that this thread is about the pope, it isn't about me. You obviously want it to be about me which is why your remarks are directed at criticisms of me rather than supporting your position. I would hardly called my reaction "insensitive" to being called "schismatic". That's a very nasty charge to make, but I made a joke about it because it so ridiculous.

If the pope isn't responsible for the mess in the Church, then who is? Case in point: the despicable Archbishop, now retired, Weakland. It was known for years that he was carrying on a homosexual relationship and that he paid off his lover in order to keep him quiet. Fortunately for us, the lover spilled the whole story. Weakland was warned several times not to make any changes to the Cathedral in Milwaukee, yet he defied the feckless Vatican, and he ruined a perfectly beautiful church. Nothing was done to him, he was never reprimanded, and he got what he wanted. Who is responsible for letting this sorry excuse for an Archbishop preach heresies and degrade the Holy Roman Catholic Church? I'll give you one guess only.
