Israel has strict gun control. There won't be any handing out of weapons any time soon. It doesn't suit the powers that be for the Israeli citizens to be armed. You must be somebody of "authority" in order to own a firearm.

A preposterous position but then again, the Israeli government is tyrannical in nature and tyranies can't afford to have armed subjects walking around stopping criminal acts such as these before they cause real damage.

They need the damage to occur so that more power will be ceded to the politicians.

You would think that the holocaust was a lesson in that regard. Nope.

You do not know WHAT you are talking about. In fact many Israelis have armed themselves over the last few months. Those articles were posted here. Many of the armed are the so-called settlers. And I notice you make the charge about Israeli soldiers without any proof whatsoever.

Pure rubbish, the ministry of the interior will issue a firearms license to anyone who has served in the army, some background checks are required and a fairly good reason but other than that its very straight forward. I coyld not imagine anyone who lives in ''ha'josh'' being refused a weapons license. My goverment is not tyranical but a democracy based on proportional representation. Please get your facts straight.
