Evolution---the boat with no top--bottom...

"We see here our Noah building His wondrous ark for the salvation of His household. We see its beginning, middle, and end. We see its different parts, external and internal; each plank as it is laid, each nail as it is driven in. Its form is perfect; its structure in all details is complete; its strength and stability are altogether divine. Yet with what labour and amid what mockings is this ark constructed! Amid what strong crying and tears, what blood and agony, is it completed! Thus, however, we are assured of its... perfection---and security. Through the deep waters of this evil world it floats in peace. No storm can overset it, no billow break it, nor so much as loosen one of its planks. They who have fled to it as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest, are everlastingly safe."

I'm still trying to figure out how Noah got so many animals in one boat. With no evolution, I guess every species we have now was alive then. How many would that be, anyway. Millions, I'm sure. From maggots and cockroaches and dust mites to Cows, Hippos and Elephants. Wow, that boat had to be what, millions of cubits?

Jar Jar Binks - Amos 'n Andy - Creationism/Ack thffpt!

via junior...

"Consider someone who believes that Venus is smaller than Mercury-not because he has evidence, but because he read it in a comic book and always believes whatever he reads in comic books-or consider someone who holds that belief on the basis of an outrageously bad argument. Perhaps there is no obligation he has failed to meet; nevertheless his intellectual condition is defective in some way. He displays a sort of deficiency, a flaw, an intellectual dysfunction of some sort. Perhaps he is like someone who has an astigmatism, or is unduly clumsy, or suffers from arthritis. And perhaps the evidentialist objection is to be construed, not as the claim that the theist without evidence has violated some intellectual obligations, but that he suffers from a certain sort of intellectual deficiency. The theist without evidence, we might say, is an... intellectual gimp."

Spammer too!

A very simple answer...although I have no idea why you are asking me....Now listen carefully....Noah's Ark never really exsisted....it is a story...a parable of sorts....

You mean it's not all literally true!!!! Gasp. But, it says the Earth was created in 6 days. Isn't that true?

Wasn't there a thread here claiming that Noah's Ark actually landed in Arkansas? I guess that's how the mountains got their names. (And the lake, too.)

We will always have these doubters until the end of time. It sure must take a lot of faith to believe in evolution. Wonder why nothing is evolving now. Wonder who invented or created the DNA molecule?

Now that depends on God's definition of day, doesn't it? I cannot speak for Him, He does a pretty good job of speaking for Himself without my help.

"Wonder why nothing is evolving now."
Who says it isn't happening now?
So many want instant change...sudden leaps...sorry, but the time frame is eons and eons. Do you deny continental drift because you can't see it happening?

Actually Omar Khayyam solved the cubit equation. Leonardo of Pizza carried the solution to Europe. Quadratit equation solutions were know before Youklid. Quartits are hard and quintits are impossible (except for the Dionne family.)

Recent images from Cydonia and other Martian areas present an insoluble conundrum for NASA and JPL researchers.

From the webiste you linked:

Information has been coming in for two or three years now from the device presently over Mars. Massive evidence of Mars having been inhabited fairly recently has been accumulating. As Metaresearch and other www sites dealing with the subject note, this includes evidence of settlements:

Note the terracing, and the rows of structures which are heavily weathered to the upper right of the image but which retain their rectangular corners on the lower left (leeward) side.

And what, praytell, whould that "insoluble conundrum" be?

Are we to believe that the same rational individual who sees man-made structures in the picture above can make authoritative statements on the complexities of evolution?

You don't see the rows of rectangular strudtures in the image?? Mother nature doesn't do that sort of thing.

If I can't explain it, does that make the process any less credible? Just asking....

Perhaps not to me. But apparently it DOES make it less credible to the author of the article that JediGirl posted. From her recent history of posting articles such as this one, it is not unreasonable to assume that she posts them because she agrees with them (no barf alerts given). So if I were you I would refer your question to her. Perhaps she can somehow refer it to the author of the article...

I don't see ROWS of anything. If that is manmade, why aren't the structures uniform in size and shape?

Mother nature doesn't do that sort of thing.

Doesn't do what sort of thing?
