Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Agri-Business; End to Sex Slavery; Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)
I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

Father God, You are wonderful, all powerful and have put the government on Jesus’ shoulders. Today we pray for our leaders from Your Word in the book of Proverbs. You have said, “everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God.”
We ask You, Father, for strong leaders in our Government from the Federal down to the villages. We ask for :
*”A king who sits on the throne of judgment winnows out all evil [like chaff] with his eyes.”
*”A wise king winnows out the wicked [from among the good] and brings the threshing wheel over them [to separate the chaff from the grain].”
We pray that You would grant each one Your wisdom, as You have said:
*“ (Wisdom talking)”By me kings reign and rulers decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges and governors of the earth.”
*Divinely directed decisions are on the lips of the king; his mouth should not transgress in judgment.
We also ask You for leaders who have been made new creatures in Christ Jesus and manifest,
“Loving-kindness and mercy, truth and faithfulness, preserve the king, and his throne is upheld by [the people’s] loyalty.”
*”Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation).” The king who faithfully judges the poor, his throne shall be established continuously.
God, we are weary of leaders who make bad moral choices. May we please have those who obey, :
”Give not your strength to [loose] women, nor your ways to those who and that which ruin and destroy kings.
*”It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to desire strong drink,
Thank You, God.
We believe You are giving our President and his staff witty inventions, wisdom and favor in our international relations and in leading our beloved military. We pray for an increase in that. Cause them to succeed in what they have set their hands to. Grant them Your protection everywhere they go.
Great are Your Lord and worthy to be praised. Amen.

Lord, we pray for those in leadership and authority, at all levels of government.
Lord, we pray for those who support the bad leaders and scoff at the wise leaders. We pray that their blindness will be healed and that they will seek discernment.
