New statistics show a revival is underway all over the world, with Christian media use increasing across books, technology and music.

This revival is also taking place in the UK. Premier Christian News reported “The Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (SPCK) has noted an 87% increase in purchases of the Bible between 2019 and 2024. Nielsen Book Data records a jump from £2.69 million to £5.02 million spent on copies in the last five years.”

“Spending on religious books in total last year measured £25.2 million, up 3 per cent year-on-year,” a spokeswoman for Nielsen Book Data shared.

Christian music is also on the rise, with many artists enjoying massive success with audiences all over the world.

“This is the most exciting time to be in Christian music,” Holly Zabka, president of Provident, Sony’s Christian music subsidiary, told NPR. “I don’t think we’ve ever been in this season of opportunity.”

Zabka explained that she and her team feel “a responsibility to grow the genre” in ways that are both commercially and spiritually motivated.

Mark Wahlberg reportedly gets a $20 Million endorsement fee plus an equity stake. I wonder what Chris Pratt is pulling from that filthy money grab?

“ The claim that Mark Wahlberg received $20 million from Hallow is false; the company has stated the figure is “not anywhere near accurate”. Wahlberg is a partner and investor in the prayer app, but reports of a $20 million payment for his endorsement were speculative and have been denied.

People can bash Waller all day long and they do because why? He’s not a pedophile Hollywood creep?

What do you do for a living? Can people accuse you of ripping people off or getting paid too high

Don’t answer. I’ll be getting flamed for promoting Catholicism on this thread on this anti Catholic forum enough

The two Catholic churches closest to where I live are bursting at the seams, mostly young people and young families. On of them is planning on building a new larger church building starting next year. My men’s Bible study group has almost doubled in size (mostly younger men) and we had to move to a bigger room. Both parishes are Norvo Ordo, but they have Latin NO masses. Lots of women, young and old, wearing veils, and lots of kids. Lots of people, but still a very welcoming atmosphere.
