To the faithful You show Yourself faithful; To those with integrity You show integrity. To the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd. You rescue the humble, but You humiliate the proud. You light a lamp for me. The LORD, my GOD, lights up my darkness. In Your strength I can crush an army; with my GOD I can scale any wall.GOD’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection. For who is GOD except the LORD? Who but our GOD is a solid rock? GOD arms me with strength, and He makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. He trains my hands for battle; He strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. You have given me Your shield of victory. Your right hand supports me; Your help has made me great. You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping (Psalm 18:25-36).
FATHER GOD,
I love you, LORD; You are my strength. You are my rock, my fortress, and my Savior; my GOD is my rock, in whom I find protection. You are my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety. I called on You, LORD, who is worthy of praise, and You saved me from my enemies (Psalm 18:1-3).
These are perilous times, LORD. No one is really safe anymore. Gangs, thieves, murderers, drug dealers, drunks, thugs, sex-traffickers, abusers, liars, terrorists… These people were once isolated groups who dwelled primarily in inner cities. But now they are everywhere, even in rural America.
We ask what to do. The answer lays in the lyrics to a song written by George Beverly Shea. May this song be an invitation then a declaration for those who have never believed in JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and SAVIOR. May it be a reminder for believers to draw close to You and read Your WORD. You promise you will see us through in times like these.

Lord, we pray that more people will find safe harbor in You.
We pray that more people will repent and seek life rather than death.
We pray for our leadership, from the local to the federal level, that they will seek wisdom from above.

Father, today I wept as I listened to the victims of Epstein as they held a press conference on the Capitol steps. Grant them courage, strength, and protection as they go forward. And I pray for the Epstein Files Transparency Act to be supported and passed quickly. I also pray for these broken women. I pray for them to know You and Your comfort and healing of the pain they suffer from. Amain

Lead Me To The Rock Of My Salvation
Dear God, there is a scripture that says, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Father, I want You to lead me to that Rock, because I know that Rock is Jesus, and I know that there is no place that I need be other that walking with Him.
Guide me in the decisions that I need to make today, and may I keep my feet firmly grounded on You, my Rock and my Redeemer, amen.
