Ping!..................
Thought so
Glad we have it.
Awesom3 story😇 The Father Himself told us not to have graven images or idols? Would this constitute a graven image or idol, or is there a scriptural message that shows us how to deal with this, if it is in fact the burial shroud of Christ?
In before the “I don’t need no shroud to believe in God” crowd. (even though no one has ever said they did)
And they never mention the fact that the sample they carbon dated was from a patch job that was done in the Middle Ages. The Shroud was linen, the patch job was dyed cotton that was French-rewoven onto the rest of The Shroud. But they never mention that part.
I’ve always taken that to mean “Don’t worship objects.”
Jeremiah 10 King James Version
10 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O Lord; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
Thank You for Posting This.
I don’t understand how so many people can try to say the Shroud is a huge scam.
My warning to them is: Get ready for the most intense ZOT the World has ever seen, heard, felt and possibly not survived. Getting “GROUNDED “ can be a real bitch !
Well, it's not graven, and no one worships it as an idol, so that eliminates those worries.
I wasn’t aware of that. Thanks 🙏
The first part of your statement makes perfect sense, as a burial shroud would not be graven. As for the second part, it would be difficult for anyone to state that no one worships it so it remains a matter to question.
Amen...
I can understand not worshiping objects, and none should do so; yet some people do. The scriptural quote seems a bit abstract in light of the subject we are discussing. I can extrapolate a reference applicable but it is not direct.
Soooo where did Mr. Rucker come up with a radiation burst coincident with the Resurrection?
I spent three and a half days at a Shroud seminar and that was one of the things brought up.
Gamma Jesus?
Does Isaiah 50:6 apply?
I’m interested in the risen and returning Messiah, not an old trash bag
Because the image is burnt into the very top thread of the thread used to make the Shroud cloth. The rest of the thread is intact. The only way that the thread could have been burnt without the rest of the thread being burnt was because of a nanosecond burst of radiation from the body.
Nah. Fake science. What’s his nuclear background, running an x-ray machine?

There is a computer-generated image of the Shroud in the Cathedral of St. Helen in Rome. I took a picture and it came out lousy and faint, like the one shown in this article. When you look at it with your eyes it is much more clear, sharp and detailed.
I proposed this idea 30 years ago.
