With Christian women as loose as they are today it should not be surprising. There doesn't seem to be any filters in society much at all now days for anyone. Marriage vows, if taken at all, aren't kept and often seen as no more than a nonbinding contract for shared living only.

I’m confused. What, exactly, is the transgression? Not sexual... but “overly familiar”? If it’s not sexual, what’s the problem?
Bantering back and forth in a “not sexual” way is now verboten? Considering all of the ‘real’ transgressions going on within organized religion, I’m not quite getting what the issue is.
The person he was bantering with was not a minor, so it wasn’t a pedophile grooming a child. If it wasn’t sexual, sounds like they may be targeting this guy for another reason. Another reason why they want to get rid of him. Is he a Trump supporter, for instance?
I know the church is not supposed to be political, but these days everything is.
