Join Pastor CA Murray in “ALPHA PREDATORS and the Protestant Inconsistency” as he opens Chapter 7 of the Book of Daniel. In this chapter the pace changes into full ‘prophetic apocalyptic’. This chapter is similar in prophetic content to Daniel chapter 2 but introduces the semitic writing style of “repeat and enlarge.” This is an impressive presentation where symbols are uncovered with more clarity.

One examination by a dispensationalist vs preterism - https://www.bible.ca/revelation/Bible%20Only%20Revelation%20Commentary%20Full-Preterism%20refuted%20Steven%20Rudd.pdf - , though while being one of the former, I do not deeply get much into this debate on this non-salvlfic issue, nor necessarily affirm all that a referenced site provides. -
I was saved in the early 80s - at about 25 y.o.
The next day I went into a local Christian book store and bought my first study Bible - a Scofield Study Bible.
I was intrigued by dispensationalism as a way of dividing the Word literally, and seeing it as a way to “understand what God wanted mankind to know and how to faithfully respond to Him at various times - through faith.”
I also understand that it rejects “replacement theology” and takes a premillennial position re. Christ’s return. It generally takes a pre-Trib rapture position - and on that point, I have in a “wait-and-see” position.
I was happy to read that you call yourself a dispensationalist.
Over the years good people have argued against this perspective and I have listened but I’ve never been persuaded to leave it.
What ELSE can we do?
After all - the three positions available to us can each be found in the bible.
But a person has to ignore OTHER parts of the bible to settle on one of the three.
Thus we are left with waiting and watching.
Psalm 27:14
Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!
I see...
The Apostle Paul was the original Dispensationalist (Ephesians 1,3; Colossians 1; 1 Corinthians 9)
The Apostle Paul also has another Jesus and another gospel than Daniel’s 4th Beast and Antichrist Papacy.
Protestant inconsistency in the end times may have them on the opposite side of the Apostle Paul
God has dealt with mankind differently throughout the ages as revelation increased.
We’re no longer under the Law but under grace. A different dispensation, the new covenant.
Somewhat analogous exercise sometimes.
Eli and his two sons can testify to this!
