My personal testimony goes along this same line. My Mother in law had a terminal case of aplastic anemia. The doctors all agreed she would die and there was no cure. 2 years later she went home to live another 10-12 years before dying from heart disease.

At the time, I believed in science and the doctors. My wife prayed for her before a hip operation and she was cured immediately and never had aplastic anemia again. God is in control and will do what He wants no matter what the circumstances. I was born again after watching a simple prayer to receive one stem of Jesus's bone marrow cure my mother in law.

The reason we know what will happen in prophesy is because God will do whatever it takes to make it happen. We are constantly trying to substitute what we think believing it must be explainable in carnal terms. We always seem to be confused into thinking things must follow natural rules when God is supernatural and acts so when needed.

Indeed, one of the greatest joys of reading the Bible is watching Him achieve His purposes throughout the millennia depicted despite the foolishness of men and the best efforts of demons. Just this morning I was reading Joshua's attestation:

You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed. [Joshua 23:14]

Of course, the angels have been watching Him as He has proceeded methodically to unfold His plan, and once free of our day-by-day duties here we will join them. Still, if we're given ten cities to administer....
