This, indeed, is what we have seen since Vatican II. Relatively few Protestants became Catholic after the Council, but there have been massive net outflows from Catholic pews because the religion of John Paul II is, by his own cheerful admission, a change from what the Catholic Church has always taught.

...

Every Catholic who is serious about trying to oppose the diabolical disorientation spewing from Francis’s Synodal Church must repudiate the false ecumenism upon which it is built. Without this, every other effort to counteract Francis’s destructive efforts is not only destined to fail but will effectively fortify the unholy foundations that made his occupation of the papacy possible. Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus speaking in John 14:6

Is the Pope and other so-called Christians explaining/sharing this Truth with their Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu ..... associates/friends?

Jesus didn't attempt to "get along" with the religious, legalistic and blind Jewish leaders of His time. Jesus' personifying and speaking/being Truth is what drove the Jewish leaders to have Him crucified.

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." - 1 Cor 1:18

Pope prays for Christian Unity with ecumenical delegation from Hong Kong

Put theologians on an island!

The Pope also recalled the late Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople, Athenagoras I, who was received by Pope Paul VI and said: “Let's do one thing: put all the theologians on an island and let them argue among themselves, and we shall move forward in peace.”
