It is obvious that Jesus was offended that Mary wanted Him to do something He wasn’t supposed to do. NOTHING is more 'obvious' that the FACT that Mary never ASKED Jesus to do anything. "Wanted"? - that's pure speculation!
If anything, she was complaining that there was no more wine.

Jesus literally said she had no reason to “involve” Him. Simply saying something is out doesn’t “involve” Him. An expectation He do something, does.
It’s pretty simple logic.
