I've just skimmed the book. It's excellent.

St. Roberto Bellarmino stated: “As it is legitimate to resist the Pontiff who attacks the body so it is legitimate to resist the Pope who attacks souls or disturbs the State, and much more so if he tries to destroy the Church; it is lawful to resist such a Pope by not carrying out what he commands and preventing his will from being carried out, it is not lawful to judge or punish or depose him, this in fact belongs to superiors.
