(I miss the Biblical Art University when it’s closed)
Thank You Dan =:^)
Good Morning, Dan. :-)
#1 Tiffany and other fenster.
#2 Bloch. I will always love his rendition of the Sermon on the Mount.
#13 Brueghel. This is a small painting on copper. Jesus is almost lost amidst the colorful crowd, the disciples and most of the people listen with great attention while others socialize. The luminous colors and the great details in such a small painting show the mastery of Brueghel to describe figures and landscapes.
#21 Tissot.
#31 by the Hungarian artist Ferenczy. Done in an Impressionism style, the painting exudes a serene, pastoral quality. The time is modern, as if to say that Jesus is not trapped in past history but is an ongoing presence in the contemporary world.
