Darren Bailey for Illinois Governor - So God Made A Farmer

Excellent campaign ad by Darren Bailey campaign. Funds are limited against those of billionaire Gov. Pritzker. Please share with all Illinoisians you know!

It is interesting to note, when I searched the web for campaign pictures of Bailey and running mate Stephanie Trussell, all have been scrubbed but two.

For those electing to sit on the sidelines because your candidate did not win the Illinois Primary THINK AGAIN!

What would 4 more years of Gov. Pritzker do for Illinois? Go out and get the vote for this worthy candidate! Our families and futures depend on it.

Amazing that Illinois, like too many other states, is about as Red as they can get but, sadly, has a few cities and adjacent suburban areas that ruin them all.

Implement a state level “electoral college” using the results from each county, instead of the popular vote and the Dem controlled cities swaying every election. This trajectory of this country changes very quickly.

Was it the Paul Harvey story?

Yes. And now it appears as a Messianic herald in the disguise of a political campaign ad for the Land of Lincoln.

The 8th day is the same as 1st, one level up.

I’ll be voting for Bailey. I don’t know how well he’s gonna do against Pritzger’s machine, but he’s got my vote, and SCREW mail-in ballots, I’m voting in person.

Great point! It will never happen in Illinois, unfortunately.
The democrats are great on espousing “fairness” as long as the deck is always stacked in their favor.

Ridiculous.

Hopefully ridiculous enough to make a memory. I mean really, who ever remembers the same ol' same ol'. People commute home from work day after day, waking up in their driveway.

Anyway, thank you for the word of blessing.

"We need a farmer."

Exactly.

I’d love to see some research if something like that were ever implemented.

Each county gets three votes. Your guy/gal dominates, they get all 3. Your guy/gal wins, but doesn’t dominate, they get 2 - loser gets 1, so they can say they got something.

And do that for all statewide offices: Gov, Lt Gov, SecState, AG. I’m thinking, the country would have less than 10 Dems running anything.

And then parlay that into getting rid of the 17th Amendment and the rest is history. Now, that’s not to say that the Republican’s are all that much better, especially when you take into account most of the current crop on the state and federal level. Most of the state level ones are as much a RINO as any in DC, if not worse. Look no further than Kemp.

He was great. As a kid, I would listen to his noon newscasts, and of course,
“The Rest of the Story”. He did two paperback books, compilations of his “Rest of the Story” stories. I had both of them.
We could use him and Rush very much right now.

Implement a state level “electoral college” using the results from each county, instead of the popular vote and the Dem controlled cities swaying every election. This trajectory of this country changes very quickly.

A state level "electoral college" for the selection of Senators would result from the repeal of the Seventeenth Amendment.

At present, Republicans have full control of the legislative branch in 30 states. Democrats have full control of the legislative branch in 18 states.

Thus, under the original Constitution, at present there would be without question 60 Republican and 36 Democrat Senators. The remaining 4 Senators would be the result of a struggle in divided State legislatures. A likely outcome would be a deal whereby one Senator from each party is selected. That would make a 62 R -- 38 D Senate.

However, under the Seventeenth Amendment direct election of Senators, Democrats use their urban fraud machines to overwhelm the rest of the State.
