I have a better question.
Why did her Mormon parents send her there? I mean I’m sure they wanted her to be a good Mormon but after this you’d think the parents would yank her out and send her to a state school.

If you want to be a faithful Mormon you can not be attending sodomite promoting events. How hard is that to figure out? Even in Utah public education is teaching heresy.
In today’s ‘If it feels good do it’ society nothing is forbidden and children are indoctrinated at the earliest age to believe that any fantasy is a perfectly valid way to live their life.
