Slate Barf Alert
She(?) says that like it's a bad thing ...
Is the author an actual woman, or some kind of trans-thing?
Uh, Can the NYT Please Not Treat Catholic Reactionaries as a Fun Sexy Trend Story?
Could you imagine how the MSM media would react if it attacked Jews or Muslims in the same manner?
They reject the reforms of Vatican II? Oh, dear! /s
Slate = Mao....Soros...the “Usual Suspects”.
Wasn’t he somebody at some point in the past. Who gives a hoot.
Islam has some “uncompromising positions” on many topics. I don’t expect her to write against them.
islam = satanic death cult
allah = satan
It’s not rocket science.
It seems to have a real hate-on for Catholics.
I have really come to loathe Shia but considering his recent turning away from liberalism, I may have to reconsider.
I remember reading that article and liking it because I live in Manhattan, and wasn’t aware of the Dimes Square conservative scene. Thanks, Molly.
Prayers up for this hater’s heart to be softened.
Welcome, Shia, to the one holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith.
Is this just a ploy on LaButts part to sell movie tickets and rejuvenate his flagging acting career?
After all...he IS an actor.
A completely bigoted take on Traditional Catholics.
No outsider or ex-Catholic hater can do justice to the disgust we have for our REAL problems in the Church, the men leading it. Complaining about God’s moral laws is so amatuer! Fluff off little one.
The church is an easy target. Its never-ending.
Hello, there, ebb tide! I hope you are having a great day and that everything is going well for you.
If one reads into the life of this extremely effed-up individual, S La Beef, one finds that like most play-actors, he has no center. He flits and hops from one fad to another in a manner that suggests he’s fleeing something - and knowing a little about actors and celebrities, one would surmise it’s probably himself.
Today he’s latched onto “traditional” catholicism. Tomorrow it will be something else.
Traditionally, the Romans were the ones who stood at the foot of the cross, speculating about how they could cash in on a phenomenon. (And they certainly did.)
Please follow through on that thought to reconsider.
Everyone can change. Shia said it was his work on ‘Padre Pio’ that brought him to see and understand the traditional Latin Mass. It was that understanding that caused him to convert.
Remember that Saint Paul was originally the greatest of the persecutors of early Christianity.
Everyone can change.
He must know, or if not will soon learn, that to “keep” the feeling he has, the “connection” he reports having, he’ll need to repent of his sins and reform his life.
