They brought God's peace to mothers, and you are bringing it to Jerusalem, et al. So, my heartfelt AMEN!

My own mom clued me into Paul’s story, as she had seen him in a television interview explaining the origin of the song. Up till that point, everybody had assumed that “Let It Be” was about Mary, the Mother of Jesus. The song makes sense either way, but the true story fit right in with today’s reading.
