The “armor of God” is not literal armor.
No but would the Holy Spirit have allowed Paul to use it if war were always evil?
Would the words of the returning Christ be compared to a sharp two-edged executioners sword if that was evil?
The Bible is not a book of peace. The peace of God is only achieved through conflict and war against evil
