The former public school teacher and principal has been pushed out of her education policy role
NEW YORK CITY (LifeSiteNews) — New York City Mayor Eric Adams fired a recently appointed education advisor after the New York Daily News reported her views on homosexuality.
Mayor Adams named Kathlyn Barrett-Layne on Tuesday to the Panel for Educational Policy (PEP), along with eight other appointees. PEP is the governing body for the city’s education department. His administration asked her to resign hours after the announcement.
The Daily News took credit for getting her removed from the board after it reported on several books Barrett-Layne had written. Barrett-Layne, who is black, runs a faith-based organization and Pentecostal church.
“Leaders struggle with the same temptations of drugs, alcohol, homosexuality, fornication, adultery, pedophilia, stealing, lying, envy, covetousness, and every other sin that the congregation struggle with,” Barrett-Layne wrote in a 2013 book called “Challenging Your Disappointments.”
“They live in the grip of fornicating homosexual lifestyles,” Barrett-Layne wrote about prisoners in the same book, according to the Daily News.

I am willing to bet that Adams was a lousy cop and never really achieved anything in his life based on his ability. He is a quota mayor, just like he was a quota cop. Just listen to him. He is unintelligent, hence the (D) next to his name.
Why isn’t this a First Amendment issue?
According to the Bible, it IS a sin.
For anyone who is a Christian to say that homosexuality is a sin, is really a statement of belief by an adherent to a common religious faith.
If the First Amendment doesn’t protect that, what good is it?

Yet Adams- a known racist whose made racist remarks- has yet to resign.
This a is a clear cut case of employment discrimination based on religion. It is illegal. I hope there is a huge payout.

I’m pretty sure a government official can’t fire a government worker over free speech. Sue the hell out of these freaking Marxists.
