At this point, anyone who stays Catholic, knowing what this pope says, is as evil as he.
That seems akin to saying that anyone who stays in America, knowing what its current administration says, is as evil as they. Obviously I’m not suggesting we all depart and invade Canada :)
(but less so, since religious leaders’ pronouncements on current events carry as much weight as when pop singers or whatever-ball players say things)
