Join together with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media.

I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

FATHER GOD,

As our nation marks the 20th Anniversary of 9/11, our hearts grieve not only for the victims of these barbaric attacks, but also the brave Americans who gave their all in their attempts to save their fellow countrymen.

Through it all, the underlying reason of 9/11 was to eradicate Your Name LORD from the earth. But try as the enemy may, Your Light cannot be extinguished.

In the beginning the WORD already existed. The WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. He existed in the beginning with GOD. GOD created everything through Him, and nothing was created except through Him.

The WORD gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. – John 1:1-5

As we reflect in remembrance of the fallen and the darkness that fell upon the earth on 9/11, let us remember ours is a spiritual battle.

Let us be strong in the LORD and in His mighty power. Let us put on all of GOD’S armor so that we will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Therefore, we must put on every piece of GOD’S armor so we will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle we will still be standing firm. – Ephesians 6:10-13

We give thanks to You, GOD, for Your only Son JESUS CHRIST Who gives the victory!

Oh Mighty God, You are the Victor!
We thank You for calling us to serve, love and worship You.
We thank You for the wisdom and discernment You have poured into our lives, that we will not support the enemy or do his bidding.

Dearest Lord, we join to lift up all the Gold Star Families, the widows, and all who lost loved ones twenty years ago.
Lord, we pray that they find comfort in Your Holy Spirit.

FATHER, Let us never forget the horror of this day. Secure
the event in our memory in order that we are able to relay the story to future generations. The Heroes revealed, the selflessness of mankind attempting to make the best of a terrible situation. Lord God, we are not Israel. But many of us, not enough, but some, call ourselves by the Name of Jesus Christ, and follow Him, He is God, the only begotten Son of God, who is God. Thank You for Your blessings and we know we deserve this judgement. Help us to fast and pray and seek Your face. And to rend our hearts and not our garments, for the lost, and ourselves, both of this nation and all others. Help us to return to You.

Lord forgive us, a nation which has turned it’s back on You. A nation that no longer recognizes Your precepts and Your Authority. A nation that has gone astray and has kicked You out of our schools, our courts, our laws, and no longer acknowledges You as the Lord our God.

Our churches have become institutions of mans doctrines and traditions. In Revelations chapters 2 & 3, You are in the midst of the Seven candlesticks, yet when You describe the present day church of Laodicea, the Luke warm compromised church, You stand outside the door and knock. This is because You are no longer recognized in most pulpits.

However. There is a remnant, Your Bride. Who still calls upon You and dwells in the shadows of Your ways. Lord, we cry to you, in these troubled times, to hear the prayers of Your people. We lift up our loved ones and our nation. Lord we pray for revival to begin in the hearts of overcomes, and spreads throughout the land.

One last time Lord, before You call us home.
