Amen! When you are desperately in need of a touch from the LORD, begin entreating him for mercy; don’t worry about how you sound to those within earshot! When you need a miracle fall upon His mercy! This man understood mercy, (which means undeserved merit). He was taught from his birth that his blindness was a result of sin -— that he did not deserve healing, but that he deserved the punishment of blindness. The only remedy he would have known was to raise his voice above those around him so he could be heard, and beg for mercy. Do you need a miracle, fall on His mercy wholeheartedly! He will hear you!
