These are dire and stressful times. I paused to reconsider some favorite Bible verses.
Of course, the 23 Psalm. Always a favorite.
Matthew 10:28 is good: "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Also: 2 Timothy 1:12b: "I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day."
Philippians 4:6,7: Philippians 4:6-7: "In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
What are some of your favorites?
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Philippians 6:10 “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”
Roman 8:18
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Don't worry about the wicked. Don't envy those who do wrong. 2 For like grass, they soon fade away. Like springtime flowers, they soon wither. 3 Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. 4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires.
Joshua 1:9
Be strong and of a good courage.
Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed
For the Lord They God is with thee
Whithersoever Thou goest.
The 23rd Psalm is well to be committed to memory. It is a fine weapon.
These were in my morning study:
“Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.” (Psalms 5:10 KJV) Plea for deliverance....
“For thou, Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” (Psalms 5:12 KJV) A plea for the protection and deliverance of our president.
Make that: the Lord Thy God.
Auto correct is a real pain.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Message for the Left, the Media and The Swamp: Hosea 8:7. It’s coming.
Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devils schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lords people. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Also,FYI.
“Nothing emboldens the wicked so greatly as the lack of courage on the part of the good.”
Pope Leo X111
When popes were men.
Luke 22:36
John 16:33 King James Version
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
2 Corinthians 4 King James Version
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
The part at the end where good triumphs over evil, no matter what.
have you seen this? I would encolurage you to watch it very interesting and encouraging It is long but just watch all the way through.
