[SF Examiner] In the latest revision of a proposed handbook for Bay Area Catholic school teachers, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone no longer calls same-sex marriage “gravely evil.”
The change also removed the description for masturbation and in vitro fertilization, and it comes after months of negotiations to provide a new contract and handbook for teachers of the four high schools in the Archdiocese of San Francisco. But some in the school communities feel that those who do not align with certain Catholic teachings might still face discrimination.
Kathy Curran, whose son attends Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, said the latest revision, which was released May 10, is “much softer, but the attack against the community remains. It is still quite clear anyone who is gay in the school, whether teacher or student … those kids and those teachers get the message that they are not okay in the school.”

If two men or two women throw a party, it’s not a marriage, not even if they serve cake. They may have a ceremony, but it’s just words that mean nothing. Religiously, that is not what God created us for. Biologically, that is just roommates who decided to become long-lived Darwin Award winners. Socially, the (far too many) such pairs that I have met are consistently obnoxious. It is well past time for that pendulum to swing in the other direction.
These homo-loving priests and bishops, etc. (God have mercy on their souls) are on their way out. The Church is in the process of re-purifying.

Many Christian religious groups have been infiltrated by the left. The Vatican has now converted to Marxism and many other denominations now pursue heaven on earth to the exclusion of God Almighty. Jesus Christ is being canceled by the churches themselves in favor of Identity Politics, Climate Change, Critical Theory, racial politics, and redistribution of wealth. We need a New Great Awakening to reaffirm the of Jesus Christ as our Savior.
Same-sex marriage will be codified by the Church within a few years, along with much more depravity.
Why not turn those schools over to the district and save parents a bunch of money? Why make a pretense that they are parochial schools established to help grow the faith of Catholic children and educate them to be Christian citizens?
Next cave-in will be abortion.
Some collection of bishops might try but the Church will not. Any bishops, including the pope, who would attempt to sanction same-sex marriage would be guilty of heresy and would place themselves outside of the Church. The true church would not be those who hold title to the deeds of the church building but those bishops and the faithful who hold on to the teachings of Scripture and Sacred Tradition.
In the Catholic Church there are clear lines that cannot be crossed. That is why the liberals hide their agenda in ambiguity and disingenuous calls for "dialogue." If they were to clearly show their hands and unambiguously reject church teaching they would place themselves outside of the Church.

Anecdotal: There is this guy who is “married” to another man, he is a very nice professional man, but he absolutely will not overlook a chance to mention “my husband” this and “my husband that” and he does this far more than any married woman would. He craves approval of his “union” and that craving will never be satisfied.

Quit, I beg you to quit praying to the demon that you call mary our Lord’s mother Mary.
