Melania and I wish everyone observing Ash Wednesday a peaceful and prayerful day.
For Catholics and many other Christians, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season that concludes with the joyful celebration of Easter Sunday. Today, millions of Christians will be marked on their foreheads with the sign of the cross. The imposition of ashes is an invitation to spend time during Lent fasting, praying, and engaging in acts of charity. This powerful and sacred tradition reminds us of our shared mortality, Christ’s saving love, and the need to repent and accept the Gospel more fully.

I can't find it, but in the past week or less I seem to recall reading in a topic (may have been archival) that Biden told some story about having seen two men kissing and claimed to have changed his views on homosexuality, just like that, and wondering why he should be beholden to the then view of the RCC.

Since he has ALREADY broken most of the Commandments, added a few miscues of his own, when and where I was raised Catholic, he would already have a special place in hell reserved for him.
DO NOT STOP AT PURGATORY, PROCEED DIRECTLY TO HELL.
If I remember correctly he may have rendered himself unworthy to receive Communion and - at the least - any Priest that serves him should also have a ‘penalty’ to pay.
He should have been excommunicated when he married his ‘friends’ wife after an adulterous affair.. Is she ‘of the faith?’ If so, she shouldn’t be allowed the Sacraments either, if not, that used to be an excommunicable offense.
He has definitely managed to break most, if not ALL of the 10 Commandments....
