[Barf Alert] Biden on Catholicism: ‘My Idea of Self, of Family, of Community, of the Wider World Comes Straight from My Religion’
Former Vice President Joe Biden, who becomes the Democratic nominee for president today, wrote in his 2008 book “Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics” that his life was shaped by his Catholic faith.
Jack Jenkins of the Religion News Service published a story about Biden’s Catholicism this week that quotes a passage from the book.
Penguin Random House, who published the book, have also placed an excerpt of it online--that includes the same passage that the Religion News Service quoted.

Oh some will, for sure. There are a ton of CINOs that think abortion is just fine as long as you take care of the masses after they’re born. That’s where the “real” caring for each other comes in. That’s where the “real” pro-life movement should be.
It doesn’t faze me. It’s not that I don’t think we should care for the downtrodden, I do. I don’t think my tax dollars should necessarily go towards that. I’m for private voluntary giving.
Biden might consider himself Catholic, but he is in grave need of confession and repentance. As far as I can tell, he has done neither, because he continues going along with abortion.
The same goes for Pelosi, Cuomo, and every other so-called Catholic. I wish they were formally excommunicated. It would lead to less confusion.
