Many Christian leaders in this country are essentially doing the same thing. Although they keep the Christian symbols, they are changing the doctrine to reflect whatever PC culture dictates. This includes, sadly, many if not most Catholic bishops.
Many are so far gone that it really does look like a Romans 1:18-32 ear out there.
