What a nice memory for you. I take it you didn’t get saved then, because you’d have mentioned it.
I was saved in a Baptist Church at age 8. We had moved to town when I was in second grade. . .my Dad had to work away to keep us on the farm. . . after trying out the various churches in town,it was after my third grade teacher invited us to the local Baptist Church that we made our decision. We didn’t know it then, but my Grandma and Aunt who lived in another town were praying feverishly that we would decide on the Baptist Church which we did. My brother, sister, and I have been blessed.
