In southern Mexico there is a biological lab who purpose is to generate diseases that afflict insects. The typical way they do this is to fill 500 gallon stainless steel tanks with a particular kind of insect, then to squish them and see if anything grows on top.
Two species of bacteria, Serratia marcescens Bizio and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Schroeter) Migula have been implicated in disease epizootics observed in field populations and laboratory-reared locusts and grasshoppers. These bacteria infect their host after being ingested and often spread rapidly.

their breeding grounds in Somalia, Does ANYTHING good ever come out of that reeking cesspit? Aside from the waste of a few MIRVs, what would be lost if we just nuked it to glass from orbit?

I did not know they had climate change back in ancient Egypt.

BIN is months behind on this story. Africa was having a locust problem before Christmas.
Locust could be turned into a new food source for starving Africans and libs. Dehydrate them. Dip in chocolate. Sprinkle on spices. Grind them into powder to add to protein shakes and you name it.

How can people say “20 Times Bigger” when there are ALREADY millions of locust? Is some Democrat trying to count them?

The locust SWARM every 25 years or so...in the Middle East areas. They’ve been doing since recorded history.

Yes. Technically cicadas. People call them locusts.

Many farmers are prevented by pandemic lockdowns from going out to their fields to battle the swarms.
Wait, what? isn't the field part of their home? So they'd still be obeying the tyrannous lockdown order in their fields, right? And hanging out in the middle of acres and acres of crops sounds decently "social-distanced" to me.. I'm not sure how a farmer in his field isn't going to be able to maintain six feet of distance from the next guy... Miles away?
