Last December, I received an early Christmas present that I would have rejected just one year earlier: an “M” for “male” on my driver’s license.
The switch back to male marked the end of a long journey of gender confusion and self-deception. Along the way I became a transgender activist and then America’s first legally non-binary person.
By Christmas Eve 2019, I was done with the lies. By God’s grace, a Portland judge granted my petition to legally restore my sex to male.
This has been a five-year ordeal. I first rose to become a transgender activist in 2015, telling The New York Times: “I now live in a world where radical, conservative politicians and religious groups routinely attack my very existence with legislation to deny me basic human rights such as a bathroom that matches my gender-identity.”
New to identifying as a woman at that stage of my life, but indoctrinated by the peddlers of transgender ideology to believe I was one, I incorrectly believed that gaining access to female bathrooms was a human rights issue for me.
I was wrong. In hindsight, it was all part of a selfish quest to nourish my long-held sexual fantasy of being a woman—a mental disorder called autogynephilia.

What’s really sad is the laws that prohibit conversion therapy counseling and the eager willingness of quack doctors who profit off of these mentally ill people.

God made you male, you rebelled against God.
A lot of damage has been done by the activists.
This reminds of the big movement in the 1980s to convince all young women that they had been sexually abused by their fathers but had “blocked” the memories. With the help of a good psychologist (who would mostly say “He did abuse you. He did abuse you. He did abuse you.”) a lot of families were torn apart by women who decided that they hated their father for what he had done. It was heartbreaking to see some of those cases.

Autogynephilia is defined as a male’s propensity to be sexually aroused by the thought of himself as a female. It is the paraphilia that is theorized to underlie transvestism and some forms of male-to-female (MtF) transsexualism. Autogynephilia encompasses sexual arousal with cross-dressing and cross-gender expression that does not involve women’s clothing per se. The concept of autogynephilia defines a typology of MtF transsexualism and offers a theory of motivation for one type of MtF transsexualism. Autogynephilia resembles a sexual orientation in that it involves elements of idealization and attachment as well as erotic desire. Nearly 3% of men in Western countries may experience autogynephilia; its most severe manifestation, MtF transsexualism, is rare but increasing in prevalence. I suspect there’s a lot of this. A moment of confusion, the wrong people putting the wrong ideas in your head. Being hand held down the wrong part. A lot of later regret.

I’ve been seeing quite a few stories like this lately. The left has been poisoning the minds of a lot of people with regards to gender like they do with everything else. God watch over the kids who get caught up in this
The basic concept in psychology is hardly new. Freud talked about children being Polymorphously Perverse — meaning young children could have a tyoe of sexual relationship wth anything (a lamp, etc.)
And of course somewhat older children go through a Latency period in which boys hate girls and girls hate boys.
As we extend childhood and adolescence in the modern world, I think we get college students who lust after whatever and still hate the opposite sex. Just about everyone grows out of this — unless they are strongly encouraged to hold on to the perversity.
What guy, after a great sexual climax, hasn’t wondered if his woman felt it as great as he did? Plus they are usually too polite to admit it.

My first thought was to pray for him .... and I will.
All of the other transvestites I have seen have other serious mental issues as well. They have trouble distinguishing reality.
