Heavenly Father –

As we come to the end of December, our nation is under attack. By the enemy within. By those who wish to subvert our republic. Who want their own way over the will of We, the people.

75 years ago:

End of December of 1944, that Allies were surrounded by the enemy in the Bastogne, Belgium. The Nazis demanded surrender. And General McAuliffe gave his answer:

Nuts!

As General Patton’s army came to the rescue, he petitioned Heaven for help:

May we have confidence in our Lord and Savior. When the enemy seemed so overwhelming. And evil seemed to triumph. Yet He heard us in our distress in times passed.

December 2019:

With the assault of the enemy within, we likewise petition Heaven.

In this Christmas season, during the darkest time of the season, may the Light of Christ shine in the darkness. And the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings.

We lift up President Trump to Your protection, Father. May the evil plans and political machinations of the enemy within be frustrated and come to nothing.

In confidence we pray, what was meant for evil, You Lord, will turn to good. And You alone will be glorified.
