Heavenly Father –

As we come upon an anniversary of Pearl Harbor, December 7, 1941, may we recognize the sacrifices of all brave men and women, who fought tyranny. Especially during our entrance into World War Two.

Sir Winston Churchill summed up the moral responsibility of the free world at the beginning of the Battle of Britain:

Upon this battle depends the survival
of Christian civilization.

And his words for the brave who stepped up and stood in the gap to resist evil:

May all prayer warriors equip ourselves for battle in this spiritual world war against all Christian civilization, against godly values and worldviews, and for the souls of men and women.

Likewise, as FDR set the moral resolve for victory during World War Two:

May in our times, we have the resolve to fight for what is right through the power of the Spirit. Knowing in the end, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has already triumphed over evil and secured the victory.

We lift up President Trump, Vice President Pence, and so many godly leaders who are fighting on many fronts for the soul of our nation. Especially as a politically weaponized House and “Deep State” and “Fake News” thwart “we, the people” with their ongoing coups, lies, and witch hunts.

We look to You, Father, for our help in this struggle. And through Your mercy, turn what was meant for evil to good.

May our eyes and hearts be open. Our ears to hear Your Word. Spark revival in Your people and bring healing in the land.
