Father God, we love Your Word. Every day with its new reasons we are refreshed by the Truth we see.
Looking at our Government right now, we identify with these scriptures. HOWEVER, we know You are the God that makes people and things right. We are grateful for the leaders You have given us who hear Your voice, as we prayed yesterday. Thank You, that Your wisdom causes them to feast at the proper time--for strength and not for drunkenness. We pray for the others--those who are lazy, make feasts for enjoyment, serve wine for themselves and throw money around haphazardly to benefit themselves and their interests. As the Aaronic blessing says, "The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you; The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually)." Thank You, Sir, for blessing them with Your Spirit's enlightenment by Your great favor. Give them the wholeness that is Your peace and the peace that comes from doing the right thing.
For those badmouthing our administration, we pray that You would make them understand the seriousness of this offense in Your eyes.
Thank You for this time together of prayer in Jesus' name. Amen.

Joining in prayer, that all of those who are filled with hate towards our President, towards our Constitution, and towards You - Lord, that they would understand the gifts, the love, and the Truth that they discard. Lord, that they would understand the opportunity and the blessings that they forfeit. Lord, that they would understand the gravity of their situation. Oh Lord, may the scales fall from their eyes, that they would see Your Word.

23 Our steps* are made firm by the Lord,

and towering like a cedar of Lebanon.*
36 Again I* passed by, and they were no more;
though I sought them, they could not be found.
37 Mark the blameless, and behold the upright,
for there is posterity for the peaceable.
38 But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed;
the posterity of the wicked shall be cut off.
39 The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;
he is their refuge in the time of trouble.
40 The Lord helps them and rescues them;
he rescues them from the wicked, and saves them,
because they take refuge in him.
