Answers are in the bible.
Answers:
1. Sin
2. We don’t... God fixes it.
Exactly- this is Satan’s Domain for now- He runs the show here on earth within limits of God’s allowances- but in the end God ‘fixes’ the world- or rather creates a new heaven and new earth- this time without possibility of sin as we will be in our glorified bodies for those who accept Christ
Jesus Christ directly addressed the question, and you know his answer, so if you’re not talking about that, then you’re not serious.
In the early 1970s, as a kid, I happened upon the general store routine in a rural area of the south. There...you’d have five or six older gentlemen who mostly read local newspapers and listened to Paul Harvey. They could engage in a conversation and in five minutes lay out the entire topic, the positions, the problems, and settle for differing opinions.
Today, you have various news networks trying to complicate the subjects, and bringing on fake ‘experts’ who simply can’t debate or talk at the level of my old general store debate ‘team’. So you end up with a whole hour wasted on what could have been accomplished in the 1970s in five to ten minutes.
I think if you downsized the news networks, and people just limited themselves to 30 minutes a day.....we’d all be better off.
Answer. It’s always been like that and always gonna be like that until the end.
If one includes curses, I sin 200 times a week.
But we try to get better.
One day (sooner than we tend to think) we won’t be here and God will decide how bad our sins were and if we were repentant for the ones we did make.
Best advice I ever heard: Be in this world. Not of it.
Do 0622. You or I can’t stand against our sin. That’s why Jesus came. Read the 10 pages that make Ephesians and Galatians or meditate on the one of John 1. You could get very blessed.
Don't they deserve a little extra patience as they come to understand the true nature of evil in the world and Christ's solution to it?
It's attitudes like yours that chase some folks away from Christ and Christianity.
As Gandhi reportedly said (I paraphrase), "It's not Christ I have a problem with, it's Christians."
Romans 5: 12
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.
Romans 1:18-22
18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, 19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world Gods invisible qualitieshis eternal power and divine naturehave been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. 1 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
But as some have said here, God is still in charge. Satan was given temporary dominion over the earth when the Fall of Man occurred. He is the "prince of the air." But God has placed limits on Satan, and God's purpose is bring as many in humanity who will be saved to Him through Jesus Christ. We have free will to choose Him, or to not.
The spiritual battle is real, just as the physical battle on earth is real.
Ephesians 6:12
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I think what Charles meant was that all other avenues to discover why the world is the way it is are futile. For those who are growing in faith, the Spirit will provide guidance, discernment, and point to answers found in Scripture. We are all growing and learning, and true wisdom only comes from Him.
I was just thinking how off-putting we Christians often sound (myself at the head of the list) because we know we have hold of the Truth. People who are just coming to Jesus might (mistakenly) think we are arrogant when we are only confident in the Truth.
As an aside, I love the way Ravi Zacharias deals so gently with those who are new to Christ. I have to continually remind myself to be gentle.
Sorry, Charles, if I sounded harsh.

Because we are fallen. We have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.
Only left-wing atheists believe that mankind is ‘perfectable.’ You know, the Ubermensch or the “New Soviet Man.”
Yet there is beautiful hymm,”This is My Father’s World”. Remember God created this world.
Great answers Sky!
The Lord is trying to get everybody’s attention and to wake up to what is going in this realm. The unseen forces are at war and we’re seeing that spilling into our realm.
It’s about to get even more real.
Satan.
It’s hard for me to imagine someone thinking to themselves 50 years from now that the rise of the 24 hour news cycle, smart phones, and social media were these really great things for our culture.
