It further illustrates why "Sacred Tradition" is not to be elevated to the level of Inspired Scripture. Roman Catholic "tradition" has changed and most likely will change again.
However, the Word doesn't change.
This point was brought out in an excellent debate I watched on youtube on sola scriptura.
