No. They have added many other requirements for salvation (like some other denominations) they deny Christ is the unique Son of God and do not recognize the Triune God. They spread the age old lie that man can become god and many other issues. But this is not a thread to denote Mormon teachings
Debate Mormon teachings
“No.”
But you said, “One just has to be washed by the Blood shed for us on Calvary”.
And they claim they are. So now we discover it’s about your particular view of what that means, huh?
“they deny Christ is the unique Son of God and do not recognize the Triune God.”
Well, they don’t recognize the Trinity properly as orthodox Christians do. But then again Protestants don’t recognize the Gospel as orthodox Christian do either.
So you’re saying they must be “washed by the Blood” and they must not deny that “Christ is the unique Son of God” and they must “recognize the Triune God” but you don’t specify exactly what that means.
Washed.
Not deny.
Recognize.
Anything else you want to add to your list?
Do they have to repent of their sins, for instance? How exactly must they do that? Do they have to pray? Ever? How must they pray? Do they have to keep the Ten Commandments? All of them, none of them? In what details or in what ways? Must they believe in the Bible? Can a man be saved but deny the Book of Revelation is inspired scripture as Martin Luther once did?
Have you thought any of this through?
