The Church is Christ’s body. Your answer misses the point of what I asked. The correct answer is this: Men are corrupt; the Church, in what the Church really is, cannot be. The Church is Christ’s body.
The church is the body of all believers of all time.
It’s not an organization headquartered anywhere.
The *church* cannot exist without the people who make it up and there is corruption and immorality rampant within the hierarchy of Roman Catholicism.
*The church* is not an entity to itself that if you remove the people you have anything left.
