All good advice except to join the Catholic Church or any other Church for that matter - your salvation does not lie there. The first thing you should do is to pray to the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob to show you the truth and agree to abide by it, whatever it is. It will set you free. Don’t let the storms of Dogma slow you down - resist the winds and focus on the truth as God reveals it to you.

I was brought up in an Independent Baptist church which taught from the Schofield KJV. Upon going to a Christian jr college I met my first Calvinist who was post-tribulationist. I was so upset I cried before the Lord for 1/2 an hour and ended up begging for the truth.
I haven’t read a sentence piece since without going to scripture and reading the Word IN CONTEXT paying attention to those inserted phrases. How I love reading the Way, the Truth, and the Life that is given to the seven churches and will call those of every nation, tribe, tongue, race. :)
