Based on the 6 episodes I got from Netflix and watched — yeah, that pretty much covers it. That and killing one of the “regular cast” every couple of episodes.
Did you read the books? There's much less sex in the books, less descriptive. However, the killing off of major characters is definitely a major theme of Martin's. And, it makes the plot much more realistic.
