All Christians are hypocrites, because all those who strive have fallen short.

One of the tenets of leadership is to honor those loyal to the principles of the organization, and to challenge those who are straying from its original doctrines, and hopefully bring them back into the fold.
Francis does the complete opposite. He insults those who try desperately to hold on to the religion of their childhood, and glorifies those who would take their church down the path of marxism.
Doesn’t he realize how many Christians have been tortured and murdered by the philosophy that he is espousing?
I am not Roman Catholic, so I don’t comment on the SPIRITUAL mistakes of this pope, but his POLITICAL behavior affects us all. By excusing and embracing Marxism, Islam, and Sexual Deviancy, he endangers Civilization, of which I consider myself a part.

... however, the Yahoo article is entirely FAKE NEWS.
“There are those who say ‘I am very Catholic, I always go to Mass, I belong to this and that association’,” the head of the 1.2 billion-member Roman Catholic Church said, according to a Vatican Radio transcript.
He said that some of these people should also say “’my life is not Christian, I don’t pay my employees proper salaries, I exploit people, I do dirty business, I launder money, (I lead) a double life’.”
“There are many Catholics who are like this and they cause scandal,” he said. “How many times have we all heard people say ‘if that person is a Catholic, it is better to be an atheist’.”

Melville said it better in Moby-Dick:
Better to sleep with a sober cannibal than a drunk Christian.

So if you are a Catholic who goes to mass and follows church teachings, but fails to live up to some of them, the Pope thinks you are worse than someone who doesnt believe in God? Is he saying that atheists arent hypocritical?
Works based salvation alert!

I wonder if he is referring to Nancy Pelosi, the late Teddy Kennedy and non-traditional Catholics like them?

Some of us are waiting for the next pope. With a 2000 year old church, we can try to be patient.
