Yes the similarity is strong...but not because its an alegory. If i write a fantasy novel and they use swords that are very much like swords that were used in the real world, it does not make the fantasy novel an alegory. Its just that both the real world and my fantasy world had swords. Well both the real world and the world of Narnia had Christ. No alegory at all.
