The Gregorian Calendar assigned the wrong day to Jesus Crucifixion. That’s all the “problem” there is.

He was on the cross for 6 hours? I’ve always thought it was a lot longer than that

The Roman soldiers were astonished that he died so quickly.

Typically the guest of honor would last a few days.

But they were simply nailed or tied to the cross.

Jesus was beaten to within an inch of his life, then made to carry the cross and then nailed to it.

He was already quite literally half dead.

This is a complete misconception. The term "day and night" is a Jewish idiom referring to any part of a 24 hour period, it does not, has never, and never will refer to a literal 24 hour period. Jesus own words:

Matthew 17:23 and they will kill him, and he will be raised on the third day.” And they were overwhelmed with grief.

Mark 8:31 He began to teach them that the Son of Man* must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and rise after three days.

Mark 9:31 He was teaching his disciples and telling them, “The Son of Man is to be handed over to men and they will kill him, and three days after his death he will rise.”

Luke 9:22 He said, “The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed and on the third day be raised.”

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said to them,“Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”

Peter affirms: Acts 10:40 This man God raised (on) the third day and granted that he be visible,

Paul confirms:

1 Corinthians 15:4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

Too many people hand there hat on a single verse without understanding Jewish idioms. Unless someone can document that Jonah was in the belly of the beast for exactly 72 hours, not a second more or less than they are dead wrong.

The idea of cramming 3 days and 3 nights into Friday night till Sunday morning has never set well with me. Yet I know that He walked this earth.

ezekiel 46:1
Thus says the Lord God, “The gate of the inner court facing east shall be shut the six working days; but it shall be opened on the sabbath day and opened on the day of the new moon.

I thought the Last Supper was Thursday and they had to get him into the tomb before nightfall on Friday.

Paul Harvey once said that forensic scientists had determined Jesus would have died from the flogging even if he hadn’t been put on the cross.

Joh_20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Where did Jesus go that later his followers were allowed to touch him?

The Passover Seder is taken on the 14th day of Nisan. This is locates a High Sabbath day. This day can fall on a day of the Julian week which is not a Friday. This year, Nisan 14 falls on April 22, a Friday. But in another year it could fall on a mid-week day, as it did the year Jesus was crucified.

When Polycarp of Smyrna walked to Rome in his old age, to fight the heresies arising there among the believers in Rome, he went to stop the Roman believers from having the crucifixion and Lords Table switched tot he pagan holiday commemorating 'Easter'. Polycarp and the believers across Asia Minor celebrated the Lord's Table on Nisan 14, not the Easter Sunday of the pagans.
