But we read it in the English language; not everyone is a Greek scholar.

John 3:17 New International Version (NIV) 17 For G-d did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

But be that as it may, the two verses read as one. It seems a bit awkward to end John3:16 with "shall not perish but have everlasting life - then continue with "Not/no G-d did not send His son ...."? How did no/not turn into 'for'?

Yeah, I can see it.

To those that do not want to follow God's plan, it must seem pretty divisive to suggest that they are excluded from eternal life.

What about Sunday school? Just wondering because I taught Catechism this past fall. Is there enough context there to distinguish between preaching vs children’s religious instruction?

The standard is 1 Tim. 2:9-15. Women are able to teach women and children.
