You are forgetting one thing: The Christians who have called Mary “the Mother of God” have not been morons.
Only a moron who knew absolutely nothing about Christianity could imagine that the title “Mother of God” meant anything other than what it has always meant: Mary is the mother of Jesus, who is God.
No Father of the Church, no bishop, no council, no Pope, has been the kind of low-grade moron that one would have to be in order to think that Mary could be the Mother of God the Father, or the Mother of the Trinity.
And why would you think that I think that?
Where did I say or ever imply that?
Your argument is with the Holy Spirit who inspired the writers of Scripture to use the term *mother of Jesus* to identify Mary.
How ironic that Catholics, who claim the Catholic church wrote the Bible, criticize someone for wanting to adhere to the integrity of the Scripture that they claim their church wrote.
... You need a reality check, sir. Have you ever been around people with intellectual disabilities, that others offensively call "morons". They are near and dear to the heart of God and the ones who have eternal life have a stronger faith in God than anyone I know.
My ministry is not just to teach a weekly class of 30 with varying degrees of disabilities, but am on the board of a ministry that helps Christian congregations minister with them. We need their simple, but deep, deep faith. Your words are offensive to their Creator who made them in His image, for they are must as much as an image bearer than you or I.
Your constant use in calling people these names is not only making things personal, but is spitting on people of God. I don't think that is Spirit led, nor does anyone else.
True; just Our Way or the Highway types.
Only a stubborn Organization would teach it's members to endlessly repeat a phrase not found in the bible for one which is.
Just what is so WRONG with chanting:
Hail Mary; Mother of Jesus; pray for us sinners...
Uh, God the Son is the same God as God the Father...There are not three different Gods...
Uh, God the Son is the same God as God the Father...There are not three different Gods...
