Thank you for stating the truth. I have said this before but I went to many different churches as a kid. They all had one thing in common and that was they taught directly from the Bible. I know they did because I had my Bible with me. If a blind person went to one without knowing the denomination or lack of it, he would not know which church he went to. I have come across local church services on TV and do not know the denomination. I noticed each taught directly from the Bible. I do not know where the Catholics get that idea because they are wrong. Jesus says we must be born again to get to heaven. I received an email from the Billy Graham Association and noticed that was one of the first sentences I read.
God is so righteous that He will not allow unrighteousness in His presence. Would you agree with that? What would it mean if God as The Son in soul AND Spirit went into the unclean place of sheol? I don't know HOW He did it enough to assert an answer for you, but I am persuaded from Scripture that God did not allow His Son to 'see corruption'. Jesus, we are told by way of Holy Spirit inspiration, went to sheol. Those in torment there not suddenly made righteous, yet the Scriptures tell us He led captivity captive ... ie, He led the comforted out of Sheol and also had preached to those of Noah's times. While Jesus was on the earth His flesh wrapped His Soul and Spirit.
I can see why these notions are alien to a religion which claims its priest have the power to bring Jesus down from the Throne room in Heaven at every Mass and sacrifice Him continuously on their altar, and give in a wafer the Body, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus to be eaten by its adherents. Why are demanding an answer when you don’t answer questions posed to you - like the one about proving what you said about all the denominations way back at the beginning of this thread? Or, will you ignore this, yet again. I think for the third, maybe fourth time?

When God was training me for ministry, he had me listen to Christian preachers on the radio.
I did it for 6-10 hours a day for years, while I was working.
If the spirit within me showed me there was a problem with what I was listening to, I would change to another channel.
I see some Catholics here making it seem that you have to have a degree from some college in order to have valid arguments to make. Well, we are like the fishermen who Jesus called.
Simple, somewhat educated and un-educated people.
The Spirit of God works in all people that take up their cross and follow Him.
I imagine that I have listened to more Holy Spirit inspired REAL sermons than any of the opposition to Christianity here.

Because that is completely unremarkable.The point is to emphasize that Jesus has a divine (as well as human) nature. It's as simple as that.
Herein is the bottom line. The reason that the title has been changed from what God gave to Mary is because it is not remarkable enough to elevate her to a status where she is above others. There is enough in scripture to make it obvious that Jesus has a divine nature, there is no need to invent something unless there is an ulterior motive.
But when people add to or change or twist scripture, they must jump through all sorts of hoops to explain it. And then claim they are better than others who act like intellectually disabled people if they don't understand how to jump through all those silly hoops. It is so obvious to those reading the thread that they must learn these mental hoops. All so that man can work his way to make God like, respect or love him (or her) more. Man centered vs God centered.

Yes, the only person I know where this is so is Mary. This is because God does not exist in time. So saying that He existed before Mary conceived Him is inaccurate. Time has no meaning to the God who created all of the beginning and ending of creation in a single act. Once again, the Motherhood of Mary does not make her the sole author of the existence of Jesus. Motherhood does not imply sole authorship to begin with.

If one is uncomfortable calling Mary the Mother of God, “mother of Jesus” is good enough. But to say that Mary is not the mother of God is refuted by Scripture.
When Mary was found to be with child, and the angel of the Lord told Joseph that it was through the Holy Spirit that this child was conceived in her, the child that was conceived in Mary was GOD. When the magi saw the child with Mary His mother, the child to whom they paid homage was GOD. When Joseph took the child and His mother to Egypt that the words of the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son,” might be fulfilled, that child was GOD. When Joseph took the child and His mother to Nazareth, so that the words of the prophet, “He shall be called a Nazorean,” might be fulfilled, that child was GOD. When Gabriel told Mary that she would conceive and bear a son, who she shall name Jesus, that son was GOD. When Elisabeth asked Mary, Why should the mother of my Lord visit me?”, that Lord was GOD. When Mary gave birth to Jesus, and the angel of the Lord told the shepherds that today a savior is born, and the shepherds went and found Mary and Joseph, and the infant in the manger, that infant who was born of Mary on that day was GOD.
