All of them if they are in communion with Rome.
Doctrinally they are indistinct.
Faith and reason. Ever read the Nicene Creed pretty much explains it.
so you say that child abuse and swiping a pack of gum are pretty much equal sins?????
Apart from Christ both will keep you out of Heaven. In either case you wind up in Hell.
The earthly punishments though are vastly different.
See David and Bathsheba on the earthly punishment for their sins. David for sure is in Heaven though. Don't know about Bathsheba.
HEY, you are cut and pasting Elsie's pride and joy....
We have had 266 Popes....1 out of 26.6....Christ selected 1 out of 12 worst apostles.....we're doing just fine.
There was no interpretation in that post, just scripture.
One even from the Catholic Bible.
Let the Holy Spirit show you what it means, it's pretty clear.
Nothing in that passage contradicts Catholic doctrine
Ahhh, well OK
Catholicism, since its inception APPROXIMATELY 2,016 years ago, has taught that the sacrament of Baptism is the Christian rebirth. This was, of course believed by ALL Christians for 1,600 years until the Protestants sprang up and decided that somehow, that wasn't enough....(it is).
You would do well to read the account of Cornelius in Acts 10 if you think getting wet is what saves you.
Those were just the top ten. I’m sure the list can be expanded with a little research.
Body, Blood, soul and Divinity.....under the appearance of bread and wine....yes we do....and so did ALL Christian until the protestants came along to debunk that superstition......sigh.
quite a bit different than the roman catholic understanding.
Self interpretation seldom, if ever works....the church has had APPROXIMATELY 2016 years to study and interpret scripture....stick with them, the chances that they are wrong and you are correct isn't even measurable in the gazillions.
No they don't.
Details, details.....
I didn’t think the facts would have any impact on you.
They both have the same penalty.
Death.
Read James 2 sometime.
Not even remotely close!!!!!
Still pushing Catholicism starting at year zero huh?
There were no Catholics for several hundred years, except for ex post facto Catholics and popes.
Sprinkling babies with water does not erase the original sin.
God does protect children though.
Those who believe they are saved and belong to the Kingdom of God from infant "baptism" will be quite surprised unless they become Christians.
That is one of the reasons that we are preaching God's Word involving salvation to the lost right here at FR.
Elsie, i am surprised you would challenge this as if it were a new thing, and not search the matter out a little. This is nothing new, as the principle that martial vows end when one dies is why God commanded a brother to marry the widow of a brother. And as if the husband be dead then she is loosed from the law of her husband, thus "when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife."(1 Samuel 25:39)
The sin of Onan was quite evident to be selfish disobedience to God.
