Realistically what can we do beyond what we are already doing.
I am working hard to get change in our political leadership.
But, I love politics.
It’s not like I can go to Iran, and pee on one of the circuits for the centrifuges.
Like I say, I talk to God frequently, but His design for this planet is beyond my comprehension.
So why not party like its 1999?
Sitting around and stewing about it doesn’t do anyone any good.
Doesn’t mean I’n not concerned.

If, for instance, you had said, Well they hung Nathan Hale for speaking against the Crown, I wouldnt have had a second thought except to say, fair point. It's late. Time for me to log out and hit the sack. But for the record, please replace my Reply #3 above with the pre-approved statement: Well they hung Nathan Hale for speaking against the Crown.
Have a great night, all!

The good thing about the end of the world is that I don’t have to pay back my student loans.

Didn’t attack it.
Asked a question, because I remember a bunch of FReepers calling it World Nut Daily, back during the height of the birther movement.
I don’t go there, but there’s a lot of websites I don’t visit like Townhall. With all the ads it’s impossible for me to stomach it.
I just wait and read it here.
But, Keep cash on hand because of the “blood moon”?
That’s the equivalent to me of, “If you play the record backwards, you’ll hear Satan”.
Absurdity deserves exposure.

Personally, I do not know if these constitute a warning, but it certainly seems they may. Regardless, it is easy to sense big trouble is near even if we do not know exactly what it will be or when. These three books, taken as a whole, strongly reinforce that feeling.
I agree. Something wicked this way comes.
Just the fact that Obama was re-elected is a bad, bad omen and what he has done has made the world a more dangerous place..

We have the Shemitah year plus the lunar tetrad making the next year or so real fun.

I consider those as doom and gloom moneymaker books and dangerous. Before you put your trust in those books, do some research. Weight it against the Bible. Does it line up with God’s Word 100%? Do the scriptures line up?
The author created some myths in order for things to line up.
I’ve been trying to find some info on that “sycamore tree” on Wall Street. I cannot find anything about it before 2001. The scripture Cahn used says that it was cut down. Was the sycamore on Wall Street cut down? no.
How many pine trees are there in NYC?
What are their chances of surviving there?
I read an article about the artist who did the bronze roots. He says it’s art and nothing else. The artist applied for a loan. He financed the entire project because it would be a fun project for him.
Another thing I considered is that the signs are for Jewish people. THEY are God’s chosen. Shemitah is not Christian.
For a Christian to observe rituals of a different religion is wrong. We might as well observe muslim rituals also.

Throughout time eternal, any rare astronomical event is seen as foreboding of evil events.
The truth is that the events were going to happen, regardless of the signs in the sky. But it is convenient to blame them on the moon, like the priests of Egypt blamed the Gods for flooding the Nile.

Cahn is creating a myth.
I’ll ask again:
How many pine trees are there in NYC?
That tree was doomed to die the moment it was planted.

It's a Christian belief for some.
Back off the nut talk. We get enough persecution from the rest of the world. FR's not here for you to call conservatives and Christians nuts.
And, Obama’s birth certificate is a fraud. Sheriff Arpaio said so.

I haven’t seen the Y2K Hype on the religious threads and i go there often....I do think people are aware of the times we are in but only a few might seem a bit overboard.
I’m not into the blood moon thingy at all ....just interesting that this happens.

My intellect tells me it's foolish to fear natural phenomenon no matter how rare it might be, but the truth is there is a nagging tugging at me and the still waters are turbulent and muddy. What truly troubles me is I realized that this feeling started almost 7 years ago, 7 years a Biblical cycle.
It troubled me so much that I was drawn back to God and his Church praise him! Urged on by this 'itch I can not scratch' I started preparing in a way and with an urgency I had never had before. Also something else was different this time the urge came on me to spread the word as much as I could to bring to people minds their need to be self sufficient.
I can also tell you that before then my wife had never been a active and pro prepper, but when I started gearing up this time she had not only no doubts, but started helping. Now what or if something is coming I can say when or what.
Is it a Godly event?? I don't know and if so the only prepping you can do is stocking up on your faith. I have often said that in the history of the world many events both man made and natural have cause such misery that people have cried out to God to bring his judgment so that what they were undergoing would end.
I do believe that people do have a super natural sense of danger that can not be easily explain, people refrain from boarding planes that crash, dreams of warning, odd feelings to travel a different route or day and so forth and why not were we not made in the image of God? That being the case isn't it logical that something even the smallest of a hint of the power of the Lord All Might reside in us his greatest works?
The thief doesn't not steal every night, neither does fire destroy after each sunset nor the enemy wage war, yet the watchman stays alert and vigilante through the dark hours, leaving his post to rest only when his people awake and alert. So my fellow watchmen stay alert and vigilante. Fear not every murmur or rumor, but do not dismiss them out of hand, but give each the study and the consideration it is due in remembrance of the responsibilities and the punishment accorded the watchman should he fail in his duties.
But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone's life, that person's life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.'
