For the first time in Vatican history, the pope allowed for the reading of Islamic prayers and Koran readings from the Catholic facility.

The readings and prayer came as Pope Francis met with Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Vatican City, a gathering designed to pray for Middle Eastern peace.

A Holy See spokesman said the prayers were supposed to be a “pause in politics,” Breitbart reported. The pope said, too, that he hoped the interfaith prayers would foster peace specifically between Israelis and Palestinians, the news outlet said.

Then too, it was also the first Christians who try to do the same thing when they got word about one “Saul” who had HIS CONVERSION EXPERIENCE when he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus and became PAUL.

How do you tell the difference?

A young girl was trudging along a mountain path, trying to reach her grandmother’s house.
It was bitter cold, and the wind cut like a knife.
When she was within sight of her destination, she heard a rustle at her feet.

Looking down, she saw a snake.
Before she could move, the snake spoke to her.
He said, “I am about to die.
It is too cold for me up here, and I am freezing.
There is no food in these mountains, and I am starving.
Please put me under your coat and take me with you.”

“No,” replied the girl. “I know your kind. You are a rattlesnake.
If I pick you up, you will bite me, and your bite is poisonous.”

“No, no,” said the snake. “If you help me, you will be my best friend.
I will treat you differently.”

The little girl sat down on a rock for a moment to rest and think things over.
She looked at the beautiful markings on the snake and had to admit that it was the most beautiful snake she had ever seen.

Suddenly, she said, “I believe you. I will save you.
All living things deserve to be treated with kindness.”

The little girl reached over, put the snake gently under her coat and proceeded toward her grandmother’s house.

Within a moment, she felt a sharp pain in her side.
The snake had bitten her.

“How could you do this to me?” she cried.
“You promised that you would not bite me, and I trusted you!”

“You knew what I was when you picked me up,” hissed the snake as he slithered away.

Look for him to step down by the time he is 80.

Again look what happened to the first Christians, they were SCARED when Paul first joined the Church because of what he did in past against them. He did get accepted into the Christian fold.

Only God can read hearts, PLEASE accept this GENTLE CORRECTING.

Besides there is any venon medicine around now.

Could it be that ISIS is sending Muslims to faith in Christ?

Apparently it matters not to the home office in Rome, as evidenced by the following:

The Catholic Catechism reads: "841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."[330]"

And, and old classic:

I may have missed it, but when is the reciprocal event - Christians praying in Mecca - when is that event scheduled?

Excellent question! And if it happens, Pope Francis might turn out to be a clever strategist after all. But if it doesn't happen, Francis will turn out to be a clueless fool.

I'm betting it won't happen.

Let’s be clear.....Saul saw Jesus ‘face to face’ and was converted. That is not what the Christian push to convert Muslims is.

“...Get rid of the mary thing”

(Speaking of history) which saints if any prior to the beginning of the Protestant revolt thing do you look to for inspiration and good example? Which do you look to as orthodox prior to the same period? What historical PERSONS of the church prior to then do you recognize as orthodox? Can you name at least just a few?

Francis is willingly being used in a Political Fashion to assist the Globalists, because Francis is definitely a Globalist.....they know they have to have the religions supporting them when they're ready to pull the “New World Order” switch.

This is a big mistake and I’d think somebody smart enough to become pope would know that without being told.
