What gets me is the “temporary” part of it...that way, the Roman Catholic Cult can say you have to DO something. Funny... try reading Ephesians 2:8-9 and inserting “temporary”:
“For by grace are you [temporarily] saved through faith....”

Evidently there’s a lot that’s temporary in the Catholic Church. You can even have Christ in you temporarily until you need to eat Him again.

What is blasphemous about this? There are many areas where we can have good discussions about the meaning of this or that bible passage, but I just don't see why Protestants are so repulsed by the exact words of Jesus Himself in these particular passages. Eat Jesus. He said so. He didn't use an allegory or a parable, he didn't speak metaphorically. He literally said, "Eat my flesh." How much clearer can it get?
First, of all, my FRiend, the word "protestant" doesn't come near what I believe about the Cult of Rome. I am not a "protester", I am a crap-detector and it is a mile high and very stinky across the Tiber.
Second of all, Jesus did not tell you to hire some pedophile in a bathrobe and a pointy hat to say weird words over a biscuit and chalice and CLAIM to have that turn into His body and blood. Where the hell (and I do mean HELL) did your boys cook up that pipe-dream?
Then, for the sheeple to "eat" Him each Sunday hoping that they can die before committing any more sin (because most forgot to go to confession and get absolution by saying 14 paternosters and 532 hail marthas)...HERE is the most monstrous blasphemy of all. It has nothing to do with Jesus' words.
But, then there is the Mariolatry, the gold, the popemobile, the icons, the indulgences, the purgatory, the genuflecting, the kissing rings, the self-made religion. And, then the fact that RCs don't really read the text (or can't read the text, because headquarters won't let them interpret the plain words on the page) and understand that, as Paul said, it is "...by grace you are saved through faith and that NOT OF YOURSELVES, it is a gift of God, not as a result of ANYTHING YOU HAVE DONE, lest any man turn into an RC"

Zeroing in on what you said regarding the question at hand -- Jesus gave His apostles the gift of doing as He did at the Last Supper -- "do this in memory of me." Apostolic succession leads to the "pedophile in a pointy hat" as you term it. Melchizidek blessed bread, Jesus used bread, we use bread. Then we eat the bread made Flesh, because Jesus said, "eat my Flesh." The Jews murmured, and Jesus said yet again, "eat my Flesh."
Of all the things Protestants object to, why this? It is straight out of the mouth of Christ Himself.
Oh, my FRiend...your clan is not doing in “memory” of Jesus. Your group is doing it claiming that transubstantiation has actually happened. You claim you are eating the actual flesh and drinking the actual blood. This is not only barbaric, since not even the disciples at the table actually ate His body or drank His blood, but it pretends to re-enact the crucifixion. And, He died, “once, for all”. But, don’t let the real words get in the way...
Okay. Let's take this slowly and look at it. You're saying he didn't speak metaphorically, he didn't use allegory or parable when he told his disciples to eat his flesh and drink his blood.
Okay.
Show me where they cannibalized Christ. If Christ told them LITERALLY to do what you claim, why did they not eat his flesh and drink his blood right there? He told them to, right? But they didn't, did they? Christ was betrayed that night, and then crucified on the cross. Right?
That can't be? There's no way according to the "logic" that the Roman Catholic Cult spews out... there's no way Christ could have been crucified for our sins because if he told his disciples to eat his flesh and drink his blood he would have died then!
Can you not see the absolute idiocy of the Roman Catholic Cult's position on this? OF COURSE CHRIST WAS SPEAKING METAPHORICALLY.
So... with this in mind, try explaining to me again how this can be? Was Christ crucified? Did he rise again? If so, then he spoke metaphorically. Otherwise, his disciples would have cannibalized him.

There are many kinds of grace. Actual grace is the one being discussed here.
